Re: Sorry to Make You Cry XVII
Not that it affects the final standings, but I don't think Radrick loses 10 points, but instead gets nothing. So he would end up with 231.
Welp, I guess I lucked into winning this thing. I'll have to think about something suitable (or not) for next season. Railgun? Hmmm . . . :notsure:
Maybe something anime though. 8)

My long-term memory kinda sucks, but if we didn't already do Kill La Kill in the past, I think I'll go with that. Not technically a movie, but an anime series. Hope it'll do.

Heh, I remember that first one, obviously. I think I have it saved somewhere. But Collingsworth, "you've got to be kidding me." There is at the end a flash to His Tomness bEFORE H#BTAYEDUSALLPUSSYWHIPPED Brady looking from the sideline like, "the . . . fuck?"
The Cleveland field looks like "Cleveland," but they got it right.
Rams: why you have to pay attention!
Nice to see a legitimate helmet catch. . . .

Apparently Belichick planned that since he knew Flutie could do it, and he figured it would be sort of a nice moment for him.

Trump notes that the Boston Globe is such fake news it "sold for a dollar."
Which means you are not only wrong, Your Mom is involved.
MOAR seriously, when I first heard of this idea, a few weeks ago, it read like really pathetic conspiracy theories. Brady wanted to play for his "home-town team" SF, which means Jimmy Garafollollololo . . . lo would RETURN TO THE GREATEST SPORTS DYNASTY AND LOSE IN A . . . Super Bowl. . . .
Cutting away the "Stupid," one odd thing I agree with: Brady has been very silent about His Merciful Dark Hoodie. The "Ginger Goebbels" version is that he felt so "unappreciated" – to quote G-Girl . . . aka "Mrs. Buchen" – that he left HMDH, especially after HMDH DID NOT PLAY THE BTTLER DID IT IN SUPERBOLW SOMETHING EALSTLES SUCK ORS YOUR MOM!
But then he won the next year.
Despite the stories about the two, HMDH famously slapped a reporter for asking if Mr. Buchen played harder after his suspension. HMDH emphasized that it was "insulting" to The Youngest Boy of Girl Siblings, One of Whom Married Kevin Yooooooouuuuuuuuuuklis to imply that he did not give his best effort before that.
Many Sports Dudes miss that.
HMDH, "infamous" for cursory hugs after losses – though he sought out Tom McCHEATERLANGHULOFF after the Super Bowl We Do Not Speak OFf – went to the Tampa's Gay locker room to talk with Concussion Water personally.
So, I think, Mr. Pussy-Whi[Get on with it! – Ed.] Brady was irritated with the Utter Doofus that is Bruce Not Worth Looking Up His Name.
I do think he engineered his leaving.
As for being an owner?
I do not doubt it. But I do not put in all of the extra-stupidity.
Brady, having lived under the "Well, Joe NEVER LOST A SUPER BOWWL EVEN TJHOPUG HE KEP T LOSING IN PALYOFFS PLAYOFFS?! PLAYOFFS!! WHAT ABOUT PEYTON THE QUARTERBACK . . . of DESTINY?" crapolla for 20 year, wants to create distance between himself and anyone else.
The defense carried Peyton to his second SB – and failures of the Pats in that and his first SB win, actually. Whatever one thinks of his SB win over THE NEXT GREATEST WITH AN EVEN MOAR OBNOXIOUS DICK HOLDER, Brady was not "along for the ride" that year.
Get eight.
Joe Monwho?
Think anyone else will win eight?
So I would agree that the idea of a good team – which was Miami without a QB – with with him as QB and Sean Peyton, with an ownership stake . . . why not?
Fanboys read that as STICK IT TO BELICHEAT BOB CRAP HATED YOUR CHEESE [Paper products. – Ed.] {Forget it, he's rolling} FOR NOT KEEPING ME, but Sean Peyton and HMDH are very close.
Frankly, while "Tom Terrific" can be a bit of a "dick," I think he only cares about making sure he is the Unquestioned Greatest long after he dies. The MOAR Super Bowls, the harder it will be for anyone to match him.
As he joked in an interview after either his second or third – cannot be arsed to look up the interview – when Terry Bradshaw was asked his career QB rating, he would respond with "four rings."
He is close to doubling Montana.
Four times the Quarter Back . . . of DESTiny.
He beat the Nextus Bestus with a Girl You Would Dump for G-Girl not once, but twice.
Kraft would not give Brady a "stake" in the ownership. He is too smart for that.
Miami?
They may lose their owner.
In the rain.

Yeah. Does anyone care? I heard that they started a new pro league, called the USFL. I assume it has nothing to do with the former defunct USFL other than sharing the same name.

Sounds less ambitious than the previous attempt. The United States Football League (USFL) is a professional American football minor league[2][3] that began play on April 16, 2022. The inaugural 2022 season was played in its entirety in Birmingham, Alabama,[4] except for the playoffs which will be played in Canton, Ohio, at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.[5]
Although the league owns the trademarks of the old USFL, which operated for three seasons during the mid-1980s, the new USFL is not officially associated with that entity.[6] This is the fourth attempt to launch a league using USFL naming, including prior attempts in 1945, 1983 and 2010.[7][8][9]

I suppose you could argue that their real competition is not the NFL, but the NCAA.
This would give young players an alternative route to the NFL where they could actually be paid.

The place whose high water marks were giving The Greatest EVAH and Some Goat Boy their second rings.Baker Mayfield-Sam Darnold Carolina QB Competition to Be a Battle of Busts?
When Baker Mayfield, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, faced off against Sam Darnold, the No. 3 overall pick from the same draft, in 2020, the New York Jets were able to pull off an upset and knocked off the Browns 23-16.
Mayfield, who was traded to the Carolina Panthers yesterday, lost two fumbles in the game while Darnold, who was traded to the Panthers prior to last season, tossed two touchdown passes in the win.
That was then. Now, the first two quarterbacks selected in 2018 will be battling it out for the starting quarterback job and possibly their NFL futures as whoever loses out in Carolina will likely be on their way out of the NFL sooner rather than later.

The NFL has suspended Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross and fined him $1.5 million for tampering with Tom Brady and Sean Payton following a six-month investigation stemming from Brian Flores’ racial discrimination lawsuit against the league.
The league’s investigation found the Dolphins did not intentionally lose games during the 2019 season but the team had impermissible communication with Brady and his and Payton’s agent, Don Yee. The league announced the findings of the investigation on Tuesday.
The Dolphins will forfeit a first-round selection in the 2023 NFL draft and a third-round selection in the 2024 draft. Ross is suspended through Oct. 17.
