Or gather indoors.

So that whole "shelter in place" and "do not go outside" was never going to work.

Why I found Fauci's claim that one could go on a cruise unethically ignorant.

To remove the negative from the tone, there is a human need to "do something" along with the very emotional desire to pretend what is happening which is bad is not actually happening which is bad since both are bad, even とても悪いだよ.

Masks became a talisman: something to wave around and pretend the evil spirits will stay away. With the politics involved, they became a way of showing that you "agreed with" one view and condemned another. The irony of that is neither "side" bothered to understand the issue and degenerated into screaming at one another.

The further irony we eventually arrived at a Mask = Vaccine = No Mean Tweets! I be Woke Build Large Mansions equation: so that, frankly, opposition to the vaccines is as mindless as opposition to masks because "they" wear them, and they are "inconvenient."

Irrationality cuts both ways and ascends and descends and sideways slides many levels.

In the rain.

This might explain why primitive tropical countries have almost no deaths from Covid

While warm climate countries that have wealth are suffering along with the rest of the advanced civilizations

What if AC AND CLIMATE CONTROL creates a breeding ground for an easy to transmit virus?

The latest data shows a high level of vaccination made things much worse

Is Covid Mania dying?

According to Alex Berenson, Covid Mania, like the Wicked Witch of the West, Isn't merely nearly dead, but clearly most sincerely dead:

What will they think of next?

Israel, one of the most vaccinated countries on earth, has had over 3 million new cases this year. The unvaccinated population (which may include people with only two jabs so far), is a fuzzy figure, but it's way less than enough people to keep claiming it's a pandemic of the unvaccinated.

For perspective, the number of cases up until 2022 was 1.4 million. Since Jan 1 2022, 3 million new cases. Of course with such a huge increase in illness for Covid, the daily death numbers also have been higher than ever before.

Portugal, the other most vaccinated country in the world, is suffering a similar fate. But with a much higher death rate. (before the current disaster, the claim was there wasn't anyone left in Portugal to vaccinate)

To compare a country with a population much like Israel or Portugal, the UAE has a much lower vaccination rate, but one tenth the deaths of the most vaccinated countries.

Of course the "woke as fuck" idiots won't let reality get in the way of their complete insanity. Once you buy the poisonous idea that cutting off a bulls dick makes it a female (a cow), anything is possible.

According to the University of California Davis Health, the reported symptoms of BA.5 are similar to previous COVID variants: fever, runny nose, coughing, sore throat, headaches, muscle pain and fatigue. At this point, there doesn't appear to be a difference in the symptoms seen in BA.4 or BA.5 cases, compared to earlier omicron strains.

Francois Balloux, the director of the University College London Genetics Institute, said while BA.1 and BA.2 are "pretty different...BA.2, BA.4 and B.5 from a neutralizing antibody perspective are essentially interchangeable."

Because of that, people who had BA.2 infections may have some protection from the latest subvariants, he said. While they spread quicker than any others, BA.4 and BA.5 haven’t been found to cause more severe disease, according to doctors.

"There’s really no clear evidence that they’re more or less likely to make people sick and cause severe illness and death," stated Montefiori.

The fast-spreading BA.4 and BA.5 sub-lineages of Omicron are estimated to make up a combined 70.1% of the coronavirus variants in the United States as of July 2, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on Tuesday.

Yeah that's great as long as you don't end up in ICU after getting COVID and your blood clots up like what happened to my aunt.

That's the real problem, pyrrho: Covid is very unpredictable. I got vaccinated last year, Mrs. Camel did not, (largely due to unsubstantiated internet bullshit that there was something in it designed to kill black people.) So, we both get Covid a couple of weeks ago. Mrs. Camel wouldn't have known she had it had she not been told to test by a colleague who became quite ill. I had mild cold symptoms for a few days.

The virus almost certainly won't kill you if you're otherwise in good health but it most certainly can. When you start coughing, that can is a wee bit scary.

I was roundly condemned on Facebook recently for saying pretty much what Doctor X posted above. Oh well.
