Refund scam

Post by Pyrrho »

Example. How this works is that people get fooled into thinking they got a charge on their accounts. Then they call the number to get a refund or to report an error. The scammer cons them into confirming their credit card number including the security code on the back of the card.

Funny, I just had one shut down yesterday.

Apparently, one of my socks I use to torment such criminals likes to buy English furniture in 'murican dollars.
