A serious question. Carbon dating is cool but doesn't work for really old shit. But, if carbon dating says cave art is 22,000 years old, and then somebody questions that (because you know, that's way too old for their to have been art making humans in that area), and then some biologist archeologist points out the animals in the artwork makes the dating accurate, then people lose their goddamn minds.
Nothing brings me as much joy as some expert fuck, who has been preventing new ideas and new knowledge from seeing the light of day, because it threatens their very life's work, you know, because they are at the top of the food chain when it comes to old shit, when some old expert fuck finds out before he dies, that everything he claimed was wrong.
I know, it seems petty. But it's actually not.
How old is it?
