Many years ago I missed a chance to buy a Graflex flash kit, before they became a thing.

The opportunity to bid for the toy gun is August 27, 2022, don't miss out.

I'm torn between that and a phased plasma rifle in the 40-watt range.

Id prefer an M41A Pulse Rifle. Ten millimeter, with over-and-under thirty millimeter pump action grenade launcher.
Its a personal friend of mine.
"Harsh language?"

And the fact that you've got "Replica" written down the side of your guns . . . And the fact that I've got "Desert Eagle point five O". . . written on the side of mine...
[They look, zoom in on the side of his gun, which indeed has "DESERT EAGLE .50" . . .
should precipitate your balls into shrinking, along with your presence. Now... Fuck off!

It's just days away. One last word about the toy, I don't believe the thing even makes a noise,
not even a click or a click-clack. Do they at least give a recording of the movie blast sound?

I have a plastic one from the Empire Strikes Back days -- 2 C batteries and it makes noise. I'll sell it for half what that one goes for.

I completely forgot to bid. I got distracted by the Travers Stakes race at Saratoga.
I really do hate missing out on great opportunity.

If you look closely at armor in a museum (sorta post 1500) you will often see a "proof mark" that is the impact of a ball from a muzzle loading gun. It was "proof" that the piece could withstand firearms.

Would the general V shape have been effective in deflecting musket balls?

Somewhat I suppose. That keel developed sorta late and was more for lances as I recall. Wait a minute ...

The version with the keel is a peascod armor and Dean says is late 16th c. Armor was on the way out by then. You note that Dean was a child of the Victorian era with the idea of things leading to things. He did a whole series like that.
